Bed Time.

As I lay Parker down for bed tonight he first hands me a sippy cup and tells me that it's empty. I told him thank you and have a good night. I walked over to check on Lincoln and I hear Parker making snoring sounds. Yes he was pretending to be asleep. I love to see his personality showing through even more now-a-days.

Cape Cod.

Cape Cod is pretty big and there are many places to visit while on the hook of Massachusetts. My family and I visited Chatham. There were fun shops to visit in Chatham and we enjoyed seeing the beach and lighthouse. The lighthouse here is more of what we expected to see, compared to the one in Salem.
The boys did excellent in the car. Daxton and Logan wanted to hold Parker's hand a lot, but he just wasn't use to doing that sort of thing. During most of our traveling the boys did really well playing together in the back. It was a tight squeeze but they all fit.

Drinks were laid aside so they could have some fun playing in the sand. I wish I could say that one of these belonged to Parker, but he still doesn't drink the white stuff.
The next two pictures were very funny to watch in person. I tried to capture the moment. Logan jumped on my mom with his rear end in her face and sand going all over. Lincoln was a little upset but we all thought it was hilarious. The following picture shows Grandma and Logan laughing and giving hugs.Oh Logan how we miss you.Parker always has fun at the beach. We went home and the boys brought plenty of sand with them.During one part of the day Daxton came up to my dad holding a dollar bill. Daxton had uncovered some money while digging in the sand. My dad told Dax to bring back some more money. A minute later Daxton brought a five dollar bill. We looked down at Nick and he pulled his wallet out and was burying his money for the kids to find. My dad being the guy he is yelled down to Daxton to bring him a $20, sure enough a minute later my dad had a $20 in his hand. The kids loved finding money in the ground. Don't worry Nick got it all back.
I loved getting to spend time with the boys. They are a handful. I love the looks they give me; the smiles make being a mom very enjoyable.
Aren't my parents just so cute!?
Me and Lincoln having a great mommy-son moment. What can I say, he loves me.
Lincoln loves his grandpa and had a blast spending time with him.
Chatham Lighthouse.
My mom having so much fun at the beach.Time to go.This moment brought back so many wonderful memories. I love dogs and my first ever dog was a basset hound. I hope that one day soon we will get to have a puppy for the boys to play with.Having fun at the beach.Me and Lincoln. I'm still trying to decide if he has a dimple on his right cheek.Cape Cod Light
My mom and dad know that I LOVE to take pictures. I asked them to pose for me and my dad just kept on posing. I have so many fun pictures of them together in front of the lighthouse but the following were my favorites. It's very difficult to get three boys to stand still for one picture. This was the best we could do before one of them ran off.

Salem.

We visited Salem with my family when they visited. It rained the whole time we were there. We visited the Witch Museum and took a drive around the area. The homes there are really fun.
This picture was for Parker. He really loved seeing the boats the day we went to Salem. Right before he fell asleep he was really wanting to see the boats so we stopped for a little and let him look out the window.Willie insisted he take a picture of me by the harbor. Even though it was raining the area was really beautiful.
My mom was sweet to take a picture of Willie and I near a lighthouse. Not quite what we expected for the lighthouse but it was still fun.
This time I made Willie pose for me.
Here is Parker and Grandma Nanette at the restaurant for lunch. Yummy clam chowder.
Daxton just wanted to play, but at least Andi smiled for me. :)
Here we are at the Witch Museum. The story inside was pretty much 'The Crucible.' I was surprised that I already knew the story a little. Thanks to my High School English teachers for putting it in our reading assignments.

Say it ain't so.

Our friends, the Merkley's, have a column on their blog that is dedicated to their son Christian. It's called Christian Comics and they post the fun things he says. We now understand why they made this column. Parker is learning so much and he loves to talk and interact with us. During one night I decided to write down the funny things that he says. Sometimes it's just the way he says something that makes us laugh. Perhaps we will mimic the Merkleys and put a column just for Parker.

Here are some quotes from Parker;
"ticker time" = sticker time
"one day..."
'I goin' eat pancakes one day', today 'I watch gabage truck one day', or on Sunday 'I go nursry one day', 'I play Logi Daxtn one day"
"twain twacks" = train tracks
"toater truddle" = toaster struddle

"pit up" = spit up
"clickity clack" for when the train goes over some bumps
"one, two, tree"
As loud as he can in the car..."waaaaaooooohhhhoohh" = firetruck, ambulance sounds
"bayasa bat" = baseball bat
"I trow in de club house righ der" = I throw in the club house right there, his hut that we made for him but it's a club house because he watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
"where did Parker gawf bawl go?"
"Parker turn"

"bitadin" = vitaminWe sure do love this kid. We have so much fun watching him grow up. He is so helpful with everything. He is a great brother to Lincoln.

Derby Car.

Our first family derby experience. We were way excited to have a ward party that allowed for us to make a new car for P-man. I took Parker to the Scout shop and purchased the Derby Kit. Parker was excited to get a new car. He carried the bag all around. When we went to another store to get more shopping done he wanted to open his new car and play with it. I guess he didn't realize that we had to make it ourselves.
Willie borrowed some tools and cut out the sweet model that you see below. Does it look familiar? We weren't too creative, we looked at the box for ideas!
Parker was excited when he got to paint his car green. We found some cheap paint at Home Depot. We would have liked to involve Lincoln a little more during the process of making the car, but decided we didn't want him to die (getting cut by the saw, or sucking on paint).
During this video pay attention to how concerned we are about having Parker get paint on himself.

A lot of good it did trying to keep the paint off of him!! He just wanted to open the paint up and dip his brush in one more time. No harm in that until the lid opened up and it went all over his clothes.

During the early morning bath time we let the car dry. He did do a good job at getting most of the car painted.
The final product. With help from me. The number 2 because that's how old P-man is.

Yes I dressed Parker so he would match his 'Green Monster' derby car. Thanks mom for giving Parker such a cute outfit.
Designs from other contestants. The 'Green Monster' takes second place (with the help of graphite lubricant, thanks daddy-o).

At home we decided to make our own ramp. Parker loves his derby car and will sleep with it on occasion.

My red socks.

This night began with a walk down Hanover Street. A friend of mine who lived in Boston for a few years, Alisa, gave me the tip to visit Mike's Pastry. Oh my this was a treat indeed. I have to go back to have another cannoli. Yummy in my tummy! I didn't take a picture of the actual dessert because we opened the box up at night in the car. We all enjoyed the tasty dessert.
My mom and dad, with Jess' help, surprised us (sort of) by getting tickets to a Red Sox game! We all were so excited. Andi and Nick stocked up on their Boston gear, they looked like they were true fans. The moments leading up to the first pitch were exciting. Here is Willie walking down one of the streets leading up to Fenway. This is the ticket office. We already had our tickets so we didn't need to stop, I just thought the ticket office looked cool. Here's a bad picture of the Fenway Park sign. Oh the excitement was building up inside! Can't you just feel the butterflies as you are walking up the steps to see the field!!And here is the glorious sight. Yeah. How awesome! This was one of the first and last times we looked at the scoreboard. We sat right under it. This gave us the opportunity to catch a few balls from the home runs we saw. Granted we weren't even close to the home run balls. What a hot dog!! Yeah Parker had a hot dog for dinner, and he loved it. He was really nice and shared with Logan or Dax, can't remember which one it was now. The dog was so big for a two year old.The rain didn't stop us from having a good time. The boys tried catching raindrops in their mouth when it was sprinkling.
Here is a cool picture that Nick took. Most of everyone is in it. My two favorite parts are Andi smiling and Parker getting WAY excited about something. This Red Sox game was SO great. Many cool things happened. We saw three home runs that were eaten up by the Green Monster. One player got hit in the head with a fast ball. I sort of missed that one and they were respectful and didn't show it on the jumbo-tron. I'll mention a few more memorables further down.
Thanks mom for the fun 'surprise.' It was lucky I dressed the boys in the right colors and even in baseball attire. Who knew that's what we were going to do?Lincoln got to be with Grandma nearly the whole game. He sure loves her.My family having a good time at the game. We had to borrow Andi and Nicks new hats to make it look like we were true fans.
Andi and Nick and their boys enjoying the game too.
Parker and his cousins had so much fun playing with each other. They were so excited for the game. I know I have used the word 'excited' about a billion times already but I just can't think of exactly how to describe the awesome feelings we had at the game. During this game we sang 'take me out to the ballgame.' We found a penny smasher and smashed a penny with the Green Monster on it. During the seventh inning we saw a fight against the Blue Jays fans and the Red Sox fans. Okay I didn't see much but various members of my family saw fists being thrown and a chick jumping on someone's back. I did get to see the Blue Jays fans escorted out of the stadium. The rain began picking up and I really thought about staying to sing 'Sweet Caroline' but we all decided to go. Just as we were picking our things up the rain really hit hard and the field was covered up. Yep we never did get to sing. We later found out that the game did continue after the rain stopped and the Red Sox won in the last inning. What a game!!

All the kids were getting tired and Lincoln fell asleep in my moms arms. Thanks mom and dad for giving us such a great time at the ball game!
