Happy Father's Day.
What better way to spend Father's Day than with your kids. The boys gave Willie a make-it-yourself bird feeder. They had so much fun on Saturday morning spending some time together. The first part of the project was painting it. I must say that the boys did really well.
Willie was teaching the boys about mixing colors to get a new color. Lincoln accepted help when provided.
Some of the pictures are blurry because I didn't want to use the flash. When I used the flash it would make it look like it was dark outside when really it was a beautiful morning.

The finished paint job. The boys did pretty good and only ended up with a little bit of paint on their shirts.
The second part of the project was to assemble the bird feeder. The hammer was a hit! ;)

Little hands. I love the next two pictures. The first is with Parker and the second is with Lincoln.

Lincoln is great at making faces. Only on occasion do I get a photo of his brilliant looks.
Yeah, the finished product! The boys had fun spending time with dad and using the hammer.
What cute boys. I did have a cute video of the boys really loving the hammer, unfortunately it was too long to post.
On the real Fathers Day (Sunday) Willie took it easy. Parker took this picture of Willie, not too bad.
A yummy Father's Day treat. This was enjoyed all week long.

Grandma turns 80!
Happy Birthday Grandma. We are excited that we could be with you on such a special day. Thank you for being a wonderful example to us. We hope that we will be as positive, happy, energetic, and entertaining as you are.
You have accomplished so much in your life and you have shown us how to be happy through all the trials that you have faced.

Parker and Lincoln played on a see-saw for their first time. I watched as Grandma came outside to enjoy all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing. Grandma you do find so much joy in life.

On Grandma's actual birthday we celebrated at my parents house. This was a fun night and we loved to see Grandma's smile and hear her laughter.
Another person that we enjoyed watching this night was Daxton. He would take one grain of cupcake at a time and eat it. Dax kept us entertained with his eating habits. What a kid.
A long awaited post.
Back in the times when we lived in Portugal we had a few surprises. One of those surprises is what I will tell about today. My parents had come to visit so it was in March when this happened. Our friends who were taking care of a few things for us emailed and said that they had some bad news concerning what they were watching. Willie read the email and then decided to prepare me for the bad news. He said something had happened and that it wasn't good. My thought shows how worldly I am; I thought that something had happened to our dining table (stolen, broken, whatever). Then he proceeded to tell me that someone had taken our tires from our car! Who would want just the tires and not the whole thing?

Staying with my sister.
During our stay in Ogden we had the unfortunate happen, we couldn't stay with my parents. Although, we did have a fortunate thing take place, we stayed with my oldest sister! I think it's always fun to have visitors. One of my other sisters was living at my mom and dad's while their house was being built so there wasn't enough room to host our two families. I was excited that during this trip we would get to stay with my sister and her family. Because Parker can voice his opinions I will tell you that he really enjoyed playing with Jordy and Kaylee and he loves baby Mckinley.
We took an outing down to Sam's Club with all of the kids. Oh my. How did I end up with the shopping cart with nearly all of the kids. Kaylee did finally join in at the very end but we never had room for Mckinley in her car seat.

When we did get to visit at my parents house my mom took advantage of holding on to the kids.
Willie is an expert at putting the little ones on his shoulders. I love how happy these two are.
One evening we were outside discussing what to do with my sisters yard and we ended up inside on the stairs. It was warmer inside.
The kids had fun playing on the bed in the living room. My sister and her husband are smart, they put the kids in the living room and let Willie and I have their bedroom. I'll keep that in mind for the future, when we have more room. Kaylee is so lovable and happy.
Jordan was having way too much fun chasing the kids around. I loved it. The kids loved it too. Jordan would tell Lincoln she was coming to get him and then she'd run over and start tickling him. He was laughing so hard. He loved waiting in anticipation for the tickle attack.

During some time on our own we took the boys out to play with the bubbles. I remember growing up in this house and always running down the same sidewalk. I loved when the sprinklers were on and we could run through them. I always remember the rock wall that had a special path that would allow us to climb from the bottom to the top easily. Perhaps I should have showed Parker that when we were there, maybe next time.
Willie is an expert at blowing bubbles. One thing that intrigues me is the joy that kids have when they get to play with bubbles. If only we could all get so excited over something so simple.

This was not planned. Jordy went to school one morning before I woke up and when she came home we were dressed the same.
I had a nice photo shoot with Mckinley. What can I say, she loves me. She smiled so many times for me. I only have a couple of pictures because there are too many to post but these are my favorites.

The next superstars in our family. Hannah Montana watch out!

Playin' on the farm.
We had some fun at Grandpa and Grandma's house. We always enjoy being outside on the grass and seeing the trains when they come by. Parker had an extra bonus this time of seeing his boy cousins more often. He played with Daxton's tricycle and loved it. All the boys had fun with the kite on a nice windy day. Parker and Lincoln enjoyed riding on the Gator down to the railroad tracks and helping Great Grandma plant her garden.
Logan giving his cute smile.
Kaylee loved helping to put the flowers in their place.
Willie and Parker pulling out some weeds before we planted the beautiful garden.
Jordan is helping Lincoln, she's always so helpful.
Good job Andi.
Way to get the weeds out Will.
Generations planting memories. My favorite is that Grandma is the one doing all the work. I hope to have her personality as I grow older.
Here's the boy enjoying Daxton's tricycle.
I love this picture. It's so farmy.
My mom was kind to take all of the grandkids down to the the train track in the Gator. She's a great driver. Logan looks a little surprised.
Kaylee looking at us from the top of the gator.
Daxton joining in on the fun.
Okay so I just love Jordan. Sorry I'm a little biased. Maybe it's because she's the first niece on our side. Jordan is hilarious and you can tell from the next few photos.

Kaylee is picking up on the posing for photos. Head tilt!
Mr. Cool getting ready to go on the gator.
Another Mr. Cool ready to head out.

All of the grandkids looking out the window at Grandma's house. We were even able to prop Mckinley up to make it look like she was looking out. They are all so cute.
