The night before the bunny came we made pizza, or shall I say the boys made pizza. I loved seeing all three of them work together to put the cheese and other toppings on.
Here they are watching their masterpiece bake. Yum. It turned out really good. Thanks boys for a great dinner.
The bunny likes to visit our house on Saturday every year. Easter morning came with many surprises. The boys were finding eggs filled with candy everywhere. Henry seemed to slow down after finding his first bit of candy. His mouth was full the entire morning with chocolate.
The boys found their baskets full of new pj's, nets and chalk. Grandma Nanette and Grandpa David sent yummy treats (Reese's and peeps), along with bubbles.
I wish I had taken a picture of the boys with their baskets, oops.
Lincoln was quick to put his new Donald Duck shirt on. The boys liked when they got to put the eggs in the dye. They didn't have the patience to wait for them to change color though so we had to be a little creative during the waiting period.
Willie or I would read stories to them while they waited to pull their eggs out.
The results of our eggs.
After decorating our eggs we traveled to the Temple. It was a year ago that the boys were in front of the temple getting their picture taken at the dedication. We also wanted to help the boys remember Jesus Christ on Easter. Our family home evening lesson was about the last days of Jesus' life and we talked about the Resurrection as well.
We had found a caterpillar a few days before and it had turned into a cocoon. Parker wanted to bring it with us and so his bug box came along.
This was one of the best pictures we could take with the all three boys. Henry was very reluctant to get his picture taken.
Henry is smiling in this picture but not in the next. But then Willie was pulling a face in this picture but smiling in the next. Which one do I choose?
The best picture of all three boys. Really? I think they could have done better on a different day. But hey look at the clouds, amazing!
I really did love the clouds this day, they were a lot of fun.
I am grateful for the temple that is close in driving distance. 10 minutes and we are in our Heavenly Father's home. This is a place where I can recollect myself and come home happier.
