Navarre Beach

We took a trip down to Navarre Beach in Florida. What a vacation. Parker loved playing in the sand and Lincoln loved laying under the umbrella all day ;) We went with our friends the Merkleys, the Salmons were unable to stay with us :( . Parker and his buddy Christian had good times playing together, they were sharing toys the whole time. What a blessing. Lincoln and his buddy Ethan (we mix up there names a lot, oddly they sound similar) chilled all day long together.
In Georgia we don't see many sunsets due to the trees. It was so wonderful to see a sunset again. Lincoln even woke up early enough to see a few sunrises. They sure were beautiful. I was very blessed on this Mothers day weekend. I loved being with my family. My husband is so awesome and gave me a cool gift that went towards his Father's day gift as well, a new GPS. We used it to go geocaching, what a fun time we had. We are excited to make more use of our new unit in the future.
When Parker went out in the ocean he would say 'a lot, a lot, a lot...' or 'wader'. I love listening to this boy talk now. Lincoln has been smiling so much lately. He is one happy kid. This is one vacation that we will have to try to do annually.

My wonderful husband.

Willie is so amazing. I love my husband so much. I had this blog post in mind for awhile and I'm just now getting to it. Willie and I took the kids down to Tech for an Electrical Engineering picnic. Willie was received an award for being an outstanding graduate TA. What a great guy! I'm so proud of him. He works so hard to provide for our family. To those who know us so well would probably laugh at the last statement, seeing as how Willie gets to play around a lot with us.
Willie applied for an internship in Boston. We can never stay in an apartment for more than 13 months so we are once again going to take another adventure that takes us out of state. Boston here we come! We are excited, I'm excited that it's not too far (across the ocean like France) away from home (Utah). I saw posted on a friends blog a message that went something like this; It's when you're safe at home that you wish you were having an adventure. When you are having an adventure you wish you were safe at home.

I am grateful for Willie and the many things he has done for me. I love him. I'm happy that he is an awesome Priesthood holder. Willie, thank you for everything!

21 and 3

Parker is now 21 months old and Lincoln is 3 months. It's crazy to think that Parker will be 2 soon!! These two boys have been absolutely wonderful. I may complain sometimes, but I should never complain. Parker loves 'Lee' and never hurts him. They both love to smile., but some of the pictures don't show it. It's tough to get both of the boys to smile at the same time.

Enjoying Spring.

We have been enjoying the good weather recently. We've been able to go on walks, play with friends, have picnics and enjoy time as a family.
Here is Parker helping me to make pizza one night.
Lincoln was borrowing Parker's sunglasses.Parker, Anya and Christian.Anya taking Parker back to the strollers. She's so nice to help out.
We were finally able to have a nice dinner one night with our good friends; the Salmons and Merkleys. The night was fun and good to hang out again since it had been so long since we'd had get-together.

Easter

The Easter Bunny came to our house on Saturday. Parker loved looking for the eggs. Lincoln was a happy baby just laying on the floor watching his brother having a good time. We decided to go to a park after missing a hunt and hid eggs over and over again for Parker. He LOVED it. Today we focused on our Savior. I loved Elder Hollands talk during General Conference. I was reminded of the wonderful sacrifice my Savior made for me. I am grateful for the Easter season. I love to see the Earth come to life as the flowers come into bloom and the trees blossom. I hope that you have had an excellent holiday. The church has a great clip and because I can't figure out how to get a youtube video on right now I will post the link... Jeffery R. Holland

Visitors.

Willie's mom and sister made the four hour flight to Atlanta to see the boys. Parker loved having Anna in town, he had her name down by the time she left. He also loved having Grandma because she did loads of stuff with him. Parker loved all of the attention. Now that they have left his life is pretty dull. :) We did all sorts of fun things; the Georgia Aquarium, eating out at a Diner, visiting dad at work, going to the temple, watching General Conference, going to the library and many more. Thanks for coming to visit Joan and Anna.

Lincoln's Two Month Pics

I'm cheap and I do my own pics. Maybe one day I'll take the boys in for some professional photos. For now though this is all we have.

I love seeing Lincoln grow up. He is smiling so much more and he loves to look around. The poor guy has a small cold but that hasn't stopped him from having fun. With family being in town I had the opportunity to really spend more time with Lincoln. Parker loves his little brother and is always concerned about what 'Lee' is doing.
