New Bike. New bumps.

Yesterday we found a nice bike for Parker. Today he received a sad injury to his toe, but not because of his new bike. Parker was moving a brick when it smashed his second toe on his right foot. It began bleeding. He refused a band aid until I offered a cotton ball. He may not have a toe nail soon but he's surviving. I was able to cheer him up with the offer of getting his new bike out. He became very happy and nearly forgot about his injury.
Here's Willie helping to get the bike all ready for use. Training wheels were a great addition. Soon we will take the time to really teach him how to ride two wheels only.
Going a little fast around the corners. He went right into the fence. We do have a helmet for him. Henry happened to be asleep in the room that it was in. Once Henry woke up we put the helmet on Parker.
Lincoln on the other hand doesn't really need a helmet yet. He was excited to get pushed around. We'll have to teach him how the pedals work. It's sad that we've had this tricycle for over six months and Lincoln has never had the opportunity to ride. Poor kid. He's happy now.
